About the Owner

Costa Painting, LLC is owned and operated by Will Costa, a third-generation painter with nearly two decades of hands-on experience.

Painting has been part of the Costa family for generations. Will learned the trade from his father, who emphasized one principle above everything else: proper preparation comes first.

That meant scraping loose paint, sanding rough surfaces, priming correctly, repairing problem areas, and never relying on finish paint to hide poor prep. Those same standards continue to guide Costa Painting today.

Will began painting at a young age and has spent years working on homes throughout Maine, from interior repaints and detailed trim work to weathered clapboard exteriors, cedar shingles, decks, porches, and coastal properties.

As the owner of a small local company, Will remains directly involved in the work, communication, and quality of each project. Customers are not passed from a salesperson to an unfamiliar crew. The person who discusses the project with you is also personally invested in how the finished job turns out.

Costa Painting is built around straightforward communication, respect for the customer’s home, quality materials, thorough preparation, and craftsmanship that reflects three generations of experience.

For Will, painting is more than applying color. It is continuing a family trade and maintaining the standards that were taught to him from the beginning.
